Mrs D's big 40 in Dec, decent nosh booked for the evening and I'm looking for something fun and good to do for everyone in the afternoon. London Eye is a bit obvious and the RIB speed boat has been ruled out as a couple of the party 65+, any ideas apart from theatres ?

To name a few:
If you like your military history the Imperial War Museum has some great exhibitions. Also has an Ian Fleming (creator of James Bond) centenary display.
London Dungeon
Tower of London
Kew Gardens
So many museums/gardens/attractions to choose from difficult to know what you are looking for... what are the main group interests?

Been on the Duck Tour and it was brilliant, so I can rule that one out. Really quite open on ideas, but would like an element of exclusivity and a wow factor to make it special, rather than queueing up with the masses.

What about Urban Golf Home
Think this is the one I went to during the day on a stag do and was sceptical but was a really good laugh even for non golf players.

Golf and Vinopolis are on the right track, but an early start on the wine probably isn't a great idea, as we've a monster meal lined up.
