Been having a serious look at this lately, does anyone on here do it?.
GreenFuels Ltd. Europe's largest Biodiesel equipment supplier
After forking out for the intial outlay it does look like a hell of a saving even on my average of 14k per year mileage.
It would be for a modern diesel which although still in warranty is still ok to run it on bio diesel according to my local dealership.
just interested in peoples thoughts really.

Seems a bit much for a fancy filtering system.
Give it a try with regular filters to start:
bio diesel filter, Cars, Parts Vehicles, Business, Office Industrial, Home Garden items at low prices on eBay.co.uk
Then take it from there.
I don't do it, but my dad runs a truck on it. It smells like a chip shop whenever he drives past, but its better for the environment and cheaper.

interesting, i get paid for my mileage as well through work so it would certainly pay itself back in even less time than i first thought.

one of my customers does it for there delivery van, a mercedes vito.
They get the waste oil and its rank, full of bits and its quite thick.
They filter it with a heath robinson pump they have fashioned from something one of the partners found on t'internet which pumps the liquid up into a tube where gravity forces the mixture through a fabric filter. I've seen the crap that comes out of used fastfood cooking oil and it makes you think twice about eating from these places and it smells awful.
They mix something with it, I think its methanol and something else (a very small amount) they stir it then leave it to settle.
They had to change the fuel filter on the van but its been running on bio diesel for 3 years now.
