it may be worth that stripped who knows? although I wouldn't fancy repairing it and then driving it.

I'm no mechanic, and pictures can be misleading, but that looks like a total write off to me; only good for the breakers yard! Shouldn't he be stating what category the insurance assessor put it in?

What a shame!

That has had a HARD imapct, there are no pictures of the front doors, ergo, its fooked, they are solid, but not that solid, so a re-shell and god knows what the engine is like after that, has it snapped the alternator bracket off the block ?

Its worth about half that, for parts, I cant see it going back on the road without substantial work that in the current climate, isnt economic.

It's obviously been sitting around like that for a long while - look at the rust on the offside front wing!!

With bare metal exposed to the elements it won't take long for rust to form. Take a look at your brake disks after you've washed your car

It may jsut be me, but have a look at the gearstick. it looks like it should be in 2nd, or possibly 4th, but it is not angled atall?

Perhaps when the front end hit what ever it hit, it shoved the engine and gearbox back?

Seen worse than this repaired to an un-noticable standard. One of those things that your not gonna know how its going to drive til its done.

Was it not Solberg's car that was destroyed in a massive crash hitting a tree last year or the year before, but the crew managed to batter it back into a competetive state. Poor comparison, but I think it kind of makes sense

WRC cars take that much time and money to prep the shell, it takes a crash of epic proportions for the team to chuck it away

It'll be a brave person who buys that car, that's for sure!
