Got flashed this morning
and not by a tramp either 
Got caught out this morning by some ****ing idiot in a toyota prius
We both were going though the lights on amber when he suddenly slammed his brakes on as he wasnt sure where he was going or turning left and I had to follow suit. Too late I saw a flash (single) behind me. Guess it was one of the traffic light camera's. So apart from being unlucky, what's the points/fine scenario for me.
Bit annoyed as I have a clean licence for the last 10 years

I have been flashed twice in the last week, a bloke who uses the shower cubicles (2 small 10 * 10 portacabins with 2 showers in) stands there srying himself unslefconciously with the door open, I am not prudish (especially about nekkid women) by the sight of my own at that time of the morning can be slightly alarming, never mind someone elses danglies !

It was a close call, he went through as it turned too amber and 'seemed' to be making good progress, I felt it was do-able but then he braked like some 'tourist driver' and I was screwed. My own fault I know but still bloody annoying. Dont worry, not looking for sympathy here, just wondering on my punishment thats all.

Sorry I still don't geddit. You were behind Prius driver. He crossed the line on amber, but then stopped? what like in the middle of a junction or a box junction?
But then as you were behind him it self you straddling said line thus causing a camera or something to flash. I know it's early Chris, but be gentle, this isn't registering with me dude

You are spot on, as he crossed the line he suddenly decided he wasnt sure that he wanted to turn left or go straight on and so stopped. Then he turned left but by then the damage was done.

In Holland 'amber' usually means give it some beans or prepared to be rear-ended if you actually decide to stop. Unless there's a camera of course, then amber means stop!
The OP's problem is that he expected a Pious driver to give it some instead of saving the planet

my step dad got flashed by a camera doing 36 mph in a 30 zone, he had to pay the fine, but went on a course that cost 90 quid for the day which meant he didnt get the 3 points
he said tho if u drove the way these ppl wanted u to drive, u'd be a victim of road rage every time u got in a car.
but all in all he said it was a good day out
