Please tell me this isn't happening
Mother gets £170,000 a year in benefits to live in £1.2m house - Telegraph
This makes my blood boil.
To think lots of ordinary people are feeling the pinch at the moment. How can this be?
Or I am I being unreasonable?

Er, this is a UK website. Why are you shocked about this? It's been going on for years.
Work and you pay tax.
If you don't want to work and want a big house, then you don't have to. The tax payers will look after you.
You don't even have to have be born here.

and we wonder why this country is potless obviously there's 1 of these for every 1000+ on housing who's in sensible homes (or the poor sods who get shoved in the middle of a beirut estate) but that doesn't make front page news does it
the most annoying bit for me is they both know how the system works and how to abuse it legally.
everyone knows they're taking the ****, but rules set up to genuinely help people will always be stretched and someone will find a loophole to make it as profitable for themselves as possible
and to think it took a court case to house brave gurkhas

and she's not happy because she has to clean all if it
what is going on ffs
I just don't comprehend how, when these rules are set, there is no consideration given to the possibility that some people will take advantage. How can you possibly get a 7 bedroom home in this way.
Surely that would be the reward for working hard, having a high powered job, or running a succesfull business. But for it to given when asked for is mind boggling.

Sounds like the son is an arsehole too, just like his ****ing mother.Bunch of bull**** this isn't it.Has the court taken the money back, and given it to people who need it ? more than likely they will get nothing.I'm talking about hospitals not people who abuse the benefits.

The mother Toorpakai Saindi, and son Jawad Saindi who came to the UK from Afghanistan seven years ago said ""It's a lot of money, but the council pay it. This is their problem"
The son also said: "although it felt like they had won the lottery, his mother complains that the house is too big to clean"......my heart bleeds
Landlord Ajit Panesar......
Robbing ****'s, the names alone says it all
If your not gonna work and pay your own way, **** off
Hate ***** like this, always moaning, whilst grabbing whatever they can, and filling their fat pie holes with money others have graffed for

If the house is to big to clean, why the **** are they not being giving a cleaner?
It's a disgrace. I have to clean my own house, why the **** should this lot? Its not on.

Don't blame these people blame you and I or more to the point the people who voted in the government. They make the policy and decide what happens to yours and my tax money. They decide to give it to these people and people like them. You cant then turn round and wonder why they take it.
It makes my blood boil as much as anybody and with the current backdrop of financial issues where the taxpayer will suffer again we have to take the blame for giving these people power.
