Default Scott Nitrous 10/20/30 (mountain bike)

Anyone know what is the difference between each one? I'm looking to get a new (2nd hand) bike & like the look of them, just not sure which one is better than the other

Scott have their range so the lower number has a better spec.

Hence the 10 will have better parts / spec than the 20.

Going freeding/DH? That's a beefy bike!

I've got a Scott Nitrous 20 albeit with a few added extras. Basically they're the same frame but the components on each are different... the Nitrous 30 having the lowest spec while the Nitrous 10 having the highest spec. My Nitrous 20 for instance came with Hope hydraulic disc brakes whereas the 30 had Shimano cable disc brakes. Hope that all makes sense!

XC with a 7 to 8" travel bike? Could be fun going up hill...

If you're going for that for XC remember and buy a hard wearing pair of comfy shoes!

Chris.

You saying that it's a downhill bike only?

You could get it up a hill but I wouldn't choose a bike that bike and heavy to pedal up something. Be great if you have lift assisted riding eg Alps or Canada but OTT for XC in the UK IMHO.
