Default My **** hurts

Spent most of yesterday swapping the brake pads in my GTR, which involved freeing several seized pins after the previous person to have the calipers apart clearly thought that lubricating parts was for losers.

Anway, today my buttocks are killing me. Tried ibuprofen tablets (now have crippling heartburn along with aching ***) and ibuprofen rub (applied by a willing young lady ) but they're not helping. Any other suggestions?

Sorry Rev, but the buttocks word always cracks me up

Mints should sort out your heartburn. For your butt, a good soak in a hot bath with some Radox should help

Eat burnt toast, the blacker the better.

This used to cure my glutimus maxximus after a heavy squat session.

Apparently it counteracts the build up of lactic acid.

Next time sit on a cussion.

Are you sure that while you were bent down changing the pads some bent bloke didn't come along and slip you a length ? :-)

I don't know I don't remember using my *** at any point but my buttocks are still hurting today and now my groin has joined in. Maybe I used too much rohypnol?

Last time I changed my brake pads I used my hands and not my buttocks. Never a moment's trouble afterwards!

My god just what were you doing to get that stressed ?

A bit of walking around/exercise may stop you seizing up all together if you ever decide to do extreme sports again....

LOL

You've probably done your back in. This can result in pain in the top of the buttocks area.

Are you also getting pains down the leg?

No and the pain is in my lower buttocks.

I really can't imagine why I'm in so much pain, I've never ended up like this working on the car before. sitting down hurts, standing hurts, walking hurts. Sitting on the bog hurts like hell. It must definitely be a strain injury as my groin is stiff (fnaar). I used Feldene gel on it and now it's bearable.

On the plus side, my brakes work great

I have to say that the thought of NotRev using his buttocks to change his brake pads made me laugh.

Ive had this pain for two years. I was told i had Piriformis syndrome, which is a pain in the Buttocks, which does send a pain down my right leg and is worse while sitting down. Burning pain in my heal/foot.
Ive had two MRI scans and the hospital are still not sure.

all they want to give me is a Caudal Epidural injection.

NHS is getting worse, IMO.

any advise?

hope yours gets better.
