I noticed Sainsburys were down to 102.9 this morning. Thinking of putting the Passat back on the road.
Just got off the phone from the American office and this week the price has come down over a dollar over there

Let's all go out and buy gas guzzlers!!
2nd hand Impreza prices will perhaps go up now. Maybe not!
Next stop 60p per gallon. Those were the days.

I suspect a gallon.
18p drop x 4.54 = -£0.82 a gallon from the highs that we saw. So 0.82 x 1.7 = $1.39, so spot on really.

Im still paying 1.13 for sul 97 ron / 1.06 for unloeaded 95 ron at my local Esso station. The owner is refusing to put the price down until he has used up all the reserve. As he paid for it at the higher price.
The local Morrisons is still 1.06 for unleaded 95 ron.

99p is till too much given the price of oil and the exchange rates.
Oil companies are robbing thieving ****s.
"ooh, we dont make any money from forecourt petrol"?
No? Well **** off out of the country and stop selling it then. Not going to do that? Thought not.

I can just about remember it (about 1975). People were up in arms back then at this Fuel Crisis, since the price had lept up from about a steady 35p per gallon in the early 1970's. Gas guzzlers were considered a even then.
