Recession? Depression? What's the difference between a recession and a depression?
hi found this link informative i liked the bit which says:
A recession is when your neighbor loses his job. A depression is when you lose your job.

A depression is generally considered to be a prolonged recession, itself defined by two successive quarters of negative growth. But i assume yours was a rhetorical question given the link you posted?
