Im going for real.....
And an excellent piece of flying, Ive seen model planes doing prop hangs and landing on their tails, so why not.
Infact just watched it again... REAL.. he did a little prop hang to gather his thoughts after the initial departure of his wing, then flew it in knife edge, which is all do-able, knife edge uses the fuselage for lift basically as a wing.
Stands back and waits for the ridicule.

I'm going for fake, as when the plane hits thr grass, it bounces as though it was light as paper. Surely if it had hit and bounced on the grass like that it would have made serious indentation to the ground and shattered the landing gear.

This comment on youtube is what really happened IMHO.
Opps! The remaining wing creates drag and the aircraft would spin around as if the wing tip were nailed down. But the entire argument is moot. The clip is of a RC model and the guy does this stunt all over the country. Someone highjacked the video and did a cleaver substitution at the end. Pretty good work, but not prefect.

I think it's real. Those aircraft have such a massive power to weight ratio I think that's do able.
I've seen one hover vertically in the air, for 30+secs, slowly rotating around the prop, so flying like that should be possible.
Like to see what Les thinks about it. Hopefully he'll pop in to this tread.
Edited to add, didn't see post 14!!

Anyone who thinks thats real needs their bumps feeling!!!
However, it can and has happened, an F15E managed to land with one wing some years ago.

Well I did not realise it was an RC model and initially thought it was the most amazing bit of real aircraft flying I have ever seen. I have done a lot of RC model flying and yes it is possible to get enough knife edge lift off the fuselage to fly a light model knife edge for a limited time so I congratulate him for being able to pull that one off.
In the real case I very much doubt that he could control the aircraft well enough to prevent it entering a spiral dive or a spin and that would have been irrecoverable. He would not have had enough control authority. The initial spiral after the wing parted company was towards the remaining wing which I do not think would happen in the real case. The model would have a lot more rudderl authority than a real aircraft and that is what he would need to fly the model as he did.
I would have liked to see that done at the flying ground! Just watched it a few times more and it is so well done I find it difficult to make my mind up now!
