I need your Support Guys
Some of you may know me some may not, but in the past 4 weeks my little sister was born 24 weeks premature and had to be transfered to Luton hospital to been taken care of, as you can think 24 weeks early she was so tiny, it cost £1500 aday to care for my sister Lilly in the NICU unit at Luton,
Im running the half marathon for my sister to raise money for the unit to help carry on looking after my sister and other in the unit,
Your support would help so much,
Im running 13miles round the silverstone track (Details are on my page)
Hope alot of you can donated some funds for me, anything counts,
Here is my Donation page and Details
Justgiving - Darcy Meadows's Fundraising Page
Also some pictures of my sister
She is 4 weeks old and still in the NICU unit

Can any other people join you to run for the cause? just thought if you can get more people involved you could raise even more money! myself and my son would love to do anything to help! I did the race for life earlier on this year (which i know was no half marathon) but i would have a while to train ,and my son is pretty fit already!

Some wonderful (but sad) pictures. My neice is currently in St George's in Tooting following 2 bowel operations. She was born on 1st September this year at 3lb 2oz and is still in hospital. She now weighs 6lb though and there's tak of her coming home in the next couple of weeks.
Good luck Darc174

Was she born at 24 weeks or was she 24 weeks early (born at 16 weeks)
Anyway - our oldest was very premmie thanks to preeclampsia and the prospect of dead mother and baby within 12 hours. Now she is a clever, beautiful, snotty, self opinionated 10 year old. Hope your little sis has the same luck

Not so long ago a 24 week prem would have stood little chance of survival, this is a fantastic example of the advancements made in medical science.

Really pleased and thanks for the updated pictures - she's looking much bigger and more healthy now
Sadly, my neice has had some further complications and is still in St Georges not putting any weight on - we're all rather worried as it seems her upper intestine is FUBAR and she will remain on a drip until at least Xmas whilst they're re-assessing her.

Really good news to see that she is doing so well. They do a great job at SCBU.
ScoobySnacks - fingers crossed
My monsters will be 9 months old on Monday, I can't believe how quickly the time has past!

Lilly is really growing now and you can see a little character developing, she looks cute as all babies do, well apart from me when i was young
Ive made a small contribution to such a great cause, keep up the good work,
