Well if you use an auction site and dont do your homework about the seller, you will get burnt, something a lot of people still do not understand.

On the completed listings it shows DS Lite's, Philips 50" plasma tvs and ps3's all going for the remarkable price of £39.95. They say it's police auction stock.

i said tothe missus that would be an easy scam to set up,looks like someone overheard me ha ha

set up ds lites/wi`s etc at half price, like that shop up north did last xmas, paypal used, over 3-4 days stock goes like mad,as in this case, easily make £10k

if something is worth £150 new say,if its going for £40 you`d be sussed really, its like sellin ya scoob for £900 fully working

How did they get so many feedback in such a short time, they would have to have either loads of accounts or know lots of people.

Looking at the way the listing titles were worded, would look like an Ebook that is for sale to me Here

The positive feedback is all from the same account. They probably bought something imaginary for 1p from another account just so they could do that.

Had a look earlier at the feedback and looked dodgy, didn't look at the names of those who gave all the positive. Feedback is now private but account no longer registered. Obviously been banned.

Worst thing is, Ebay will no doubt do nothing to recover funds for those who lost out, and this chap will walk away with a wedge of money.
