Why is it soooooooo addictive. Never been until early this year and now we are off for 3 weeks in Aspen in December, then home for three weeks, then a week in Arinsal. People ask me why we would go to such expense to basically go up a hill and then come down again. I can't explain it, but I am getting sick with expectation....... 41 sleeps to go

Me and the other half got into it about 3 years back. We went to the Nevis Range and then Glencoe on our 2nd attempt at it (not as glamarous as Aspen ). We did snowboarding and i must admit it was highly addictive. We have since wanted to go to Italy or Austria but having our daughter in between put the kabosh on that.
I would definatley introduce her to it once she is old enough though.

Oh, i dont know why its addictive though

You will love Aspen, I think.
I have ski-ed most resorts in the world and yet Aspen is like the "If Carlsberg did ski holidays" place for a huge number of reasons.

I'm a big fan of Canada

Unfortunately no skiing for me or the wife this season as we're about to have our first child

Although I have been wondering whether one of the Grandma's will look after for a few days

Sadly will probably have to make do with XScape at MK

The RAF taught us how to ski, or some Austrian instructors did, when we did a big survival course at Bad Kohlgrub once. It was great fun and the instructors were good at saying "Sorree for you" when you fell over and continuing so you had to catch up. They had a downhill race at the end of the course and all the locals used to come to watch the comedy act by us!

Great sport, I loved it am am sorry I can't do that any more. I understand how you feel about it.
