Help !! friend sent me some money thru paypal, unfortunatly I gave him the wrong email address to send the paypal funds to, the paypal address that he sent the funds to is actually one off my email address but not the one registered with paypal.
he says he is getting the message payment complete via paypal and obviously I have received an email to say I have received new funds, question is how can he reclaim his cash back to re-send to the proper address or failing this can I register a second email address to the main account ??
what a mess !! please someone help ???

Easiest thing to do is to just add the email he sent it to to your paypal account - look under PROFILE there is a link to add further email addresses.
Once you add the email and confirm it, you will get the money showing up in your account.
At the moment it is just in limbo, you would have got an email sent to the address he sent it to telling you he had sent you the money, but as the email address isnt connected to a paypal account, then it cant be paid to anyone.

Great stuff guys now sorted, and yep your correct seems once sent you can no longer just reverse the transaction.
quick other question ??!! have recently learned off using the " gift " option when sending payment, believe this gets around the person receiving the paypal payment being charged extra for the privlege.
whats to stop you sending / receiving all payments via this gift option ??
