Was out, so missed it.
Was it better than last week's rubbish? Must have been, surely?
And when I say better, I mean was it better than watching mud dry on your shoes after a walk with the dog?

FWIW, I really enjoyed last nights. I still want to see some realistic group tests with the three of them comparing similar cars, even ones which us mere mortals might actually be able to afford. A couple of shows per season dedicated to big challenges is fine, and they're (almost) always very funny and entertaining, but I'd love to see the remainder more like it was a few years back with 5 or more cars getting some air-time per show. Some exotica, some achievable sports stuff, some cheap but interesting stuff, all done in their style, please.

Why has this completely acceptable post has been negged so much as to be 'unwanted'? Cant you have an opinion here now?

The negging of a post is to show you disagree with it. It's no bad thing (per se) just that people do not agree with your opinion.
The OP said it was cr*p, lots of people thought otherwise and hit the thumbs down. Think of it like booing

If it isn't clear by now what Top Gear will deliver then it never will be. It's an entertainment (sorry factual!!) programme, with a car "theme". It fulfills that function well. If you want cars cars and nothnig but cars then go and buy a copy of Evo magazine!!

Kieran: I think of it more like 'The Lord of the Flies'. Hopefully peurile thread rating and the farcical infraction system will follow Simon de Banke. Then we can revert to being a normal forum where empowered moderators keep the peace.....

Another TopGear thread and yet more mindless negging and blind faith about a programme aimed at 8 year olds.
