Anyone watch "The Beast" on ITV4 over the weekend?
Really good film it is too.
A Russian tank crew get cut off from their main column and stuck in a valley with Afghans after them.
Might seem a bit slow at times but its well worth a watch IMO.
I'm sure when it came out it was called "Beast of War" or something.

I think I saw this years ago when I was a kid(late 80's early 90's) and remember it being pretty good. Isn't there a sceen where they kill an Afghan under the tracks of the tank?

Yes, that pretty much sets the story. The Afghans won't leave the tank alone so they can take revenge and the tank commander is a bit "unhinged"
