....the Old Dear's Iron has broken 13 months into service
It was a Russell Hobbs one with a steam generator thingy. She would like similar, but one which may give a little more service. Suggestions?
Don't shoot me for asking such a lame question

Being quite infamouse for ironing I feel I am able to give advise on this topic.
I would go for a Philips AZUR, only 150 grams, with 2400 watts of power, and also fitted with a steam glide main plate with added steam tip.
How exactly it works, I am unsure....

I hope you're talking about golf.....................
If not give her £50 and tell her to fill her boots in Currys (No PSL around so I can say that), afterall, I expect that she'll be the only one to use it, if not ..............

I run a ironing service with my mum and have done for the last 6 years.
The best steam generator irons we've used are
Buy Tefal GV7150 Steam Generator. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for .
these ones or a make called Rowenta
Just make sure you clean them out regular![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Turns out, it's pretty good, if you know how to use it, which I don't!
