Hi all, I'm after some info for those that have visited. I have been told there is parking at the MEN obviously but is it secure? Would it be a bad idea to leave the scoob, in terms of theft and possible damage from other cars?
I was considering the train instead. Can someone please put my mind at rest?

Hi Nathan,
The Arena itself has a secure multi story car park but it is a nightmare to get out of on event nights and very very tight so I would give it a miss.
Instead use the Printworks Car Park just behind the CIS building (I can give you a Google map to it if you need it).
Very secure modern patrolled multi story 5 minutes walk from the Arena and when you leave you will be able to get out with no hassle.
Also if you walk back through the Printworks and validate your car park ticket in the machine on the wall the parking will cost just £3

Only use NCP indoor parking...
The MEN arena car park is, as f1 says awkward to get out of - the earlier you get there the closer to the exit you park. I have parked there for the afternoon preceding a concert and gone off shopping, soliticing, and dancing and been out of the car park after the concert in 2 mins, but if you turn up an hour before expect to wait an hour to get oot.
Outdoor "Concert Car Parks" are as secure as a levy in New Orleans... Don't bother, the lads who supervise these car parks are long gone before the concert begins, often after clocking which ones are parking up with Sat Nav etc... Mrs Abdabz came back to hers once when parked there and every single car had smashed windows
So indoor only NCP - Printworks good option
