Refurb, but with 2yr Dyson warranty - £115
£130
Google Shopping![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
We've had our Dyson Motorhead nearly 10 years now and we had it repaired once under warranty, and paid the flat £70 for a full service with replacement parts once. When it goes next time we'll replace it, but it was worth repairing as it was expensive as we had specific requirements and it did the job perfectly.

I won't buy a Kirby out of principal. My ex got a job as a door to door sales woman with Kirby, basically she was told on her induction to get yourself in their house, then hound them till they buy one! Old people were best, as they give in quickly. Their tatic was to state a initial high price, then keep dropping, until they give in. The more you sell them for , the more commision. Think they were on watchdog too. The ex walked out on the first day.

'It doesn't lose suction'!!! No not unless you wash, clean and slowly dry the motor's sponge filter every 3 hours. Much more often if used to hoover, err, dust!!!! Absolute CON!!! D

Your dogs aren't particulately (sic) dusty??? ;-) Try a bit of DIY with plaster/dust/mortar - ohh and mine is THE hairiest of dogs!!! D

my old DC01 that i was given years back is falling apart.
it will be getting replaced with a henry when the final thing falls off it (should be soon, used 3 tubes of epoxy resin on it so far LOL)
the henrys we use at work get abused to death and so far in 4 years i have had to replace the on off switch once, and change the motors about once per year (they get used for 8 hours solid most days of the year so not to shabby)
