That was achieved in 15 minutes when my wife took our youngest to football, not bothered about the lino as its hideous and knackered but why is he doing it, plenty of walks, at least twice a day, plenty of attention.
If he trys again he will taste Nando's extra hot Piri Piri as its now smerared over the woodwork.
Actually you have a point, if I was locked in that room and had to look at that lino I may well have done the same
It has been down a while, didnt want to replace it as old hound had a go at it as well and seeing as we were going to get a new one it didnt seem a good idea to replace it, in hindsight it was a good move, it nearly got replaced with Border Collie pelt this morning.
As a floorlayer to trade can I remind you lot that it's certainly NOT Lino... Cushionfloor or vinyl it is, but definitely not Lino as in Linoleum, it's completely different! kinda like calling a Henry a Hoover, which it's not!

Right, ok, so if I say to him "Don't rip the f*ckin lino up" that may be why he was not taking any notice ?
I believe it may be separation anxiety but other than not separating him I don't know what the solution is
ditto, is he always with someone? and does the missus pander to him all the time?
We had a similair problem with our brittany after he got knocked over, the wife wouldnt leave him not even for five minutes. As a consiquence if we left him in the house alone he'd scratch things or howl like a wolf
We had to leave him in the kitchen, when we where in or put him in his cage to stop him clawing things. Over time we stretched this out to a few hours and now he's fine and we've left him for half a day before now.
You need to nip this in the bud now as the more it goes on the worse it will get, so I was told
