No no the police can really do stupid things like this ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I stopped at an accident once, Ka Roadster overturned on the A217. Checked the car was safe, climbed in the car with the girl, slipping in and out of consiciousness. Checked her over and "believed" her to have a broken pelvis, but no other injuries.
First police car arrives, I popped out of the car to give them a run down of what was going on. Took one of them to another person trapped in the other car, and on my return found the other officer had DRAGGED the girl from the Ka, and up a grass bank ! Well done !

It happens more often than you think.
If the paramedics say that the casualty has to be removed on a spine board then the hydraulic cutters come out to play![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I've seen it done to a police car and a helpful passing motorist who got more involved than they bargained for.

lol yeah I forgot to add. It was confirmed the following day her pelvis was indeed broken. An injury that can end in misery if moved about too much by someone who does not know what they are doing.... OFFICER!!
Paramedics were just minutes away, and no exclusion area was established around the Ka, so she sure as hell was not moved for her own safety.
Thankfully she made a full recovery. But in the time it took me to turn away, then see her on the bank, there is NO chance a full assessment was done, and from recollection, I would have been suprised if the girl had said a word in that time, as she was fading in and out.
Aaah well, thankfully I have not been involved in too many of those since lol.

Hi mate
when I read your post it had recieved at least one negative rating (it was pink).
The reference to plank was to suggest that anyone doing so was as intelligent and charismatic as a plank of wood.
The reference to corrective measures was that I clicked on the positive rating to balance the issue.
It subsequently went pink again, suggesting there more than one plank who has acted in the aforementioned pathetic manner, hence GC8's post subsequent to mine.
ps - how nice to post the above without fear of the "planks" infracting me for daring to question their ability to have a life
