Default HPI check, anyone feeling generous?

I know some kind souls of SN have offered to do HPI checks in the past, just wondered if anyone was online at the mo who could help?

Thanks in advance, if not, i'll look around the net for somewhere

All done and glad i did it. Something didnt feel right when i spoke to him on the phone.

Turned out to be a Cat D insurance loss. Something i asked the owner and something which he denied but i got the feeling from his reply that he was hiding something.

I hate wasting money to be proved right

Cat D's tend to be minor damage. Can you not ask him what ithe damage was, and use it as a bargaining tool?

He's back home at 5pm so going to ring him and tell him the good news. The price was a big warning sign, but with car prices dropping through the floor i wasnt 100% sure whether it was a real bargain or whether there was some dodgy history. Turns out to be the latter, so now rather than being a bargain its just a sensibly priced CAT D car.

Ah well, the search continues...
