Talking Restaurant

Taking the family to see Oliver on the 29th in Drury Lane at 7:30, what we need is a suitable restaurant to eat in before hand. It's a strange timing as the lunch time would have finished and the evening start at 6:30 in ones I've looked at.

Any recommmendation much appreciated, fairly flexible on the type of food, and no suggestion on McD's are open all the time

Thanks in advance

Very nice idea, but think we would want to stay there longer than time would allow. Will go there when we have a lot more time, as 5:30 will still be pushed for time.

Try Maxwells just by the opera house.. Good for burgers ribs etc. Good atmosphere and always busy.

Most dishes are discounted by up to 50% on a Monday as well. I would book though if I was you.

Maxwell's - Covent Garden restaurant in Soho & Covent Garden, London

Spoilt for choice there, loads around Drury Lane/Aldwych/Bow Street
Covent Garden might be a good bet as well, loads around there and a nice vibe that time of year.

Sounds great but went to book but nothing until 9pm, real shame as the boys looked forward to it

Da Mario on Endell Street, great little Italian. Clos Maggore the other side of Covent Garden is good but more expensive.
