Post your christmas tree thread!!!
Ok so i am early but bite me! 
Brought a bright Purple tree with some led blue and white lights and silver decco's, Done this on Sat as promised the kids they could pick a new tree and bits n' bobs!

Can i just offer some friendly words of advice?
It's a known fact that burglarys go up at this time of year, one reason is that people have all the presents under the tree on display for people to see through windows, sorry to sound miserable but just a thought, especially with you going on holiday

Well today was the day we put up our tree.
As we had all the kids we decided to wait until they were here as they love choosing the tree and then decorating it. When I say 'decorating it" i mean where they look at the tree, notice a small branch near them/at their height and then attach/throw every ****ing thing they have in their hands until the poor straining branch can take no more !!
This year they had an added bonus
1. We put a huge bowl of chocolates on the table and so they were torn between decorating the tree and stuffing their fat little faces with munchies and
2. We had spray cans of fake snow for them to cover the tree
An hour or so later and a few tantrums, we have this end result
