Default Anyone else taking advantage of MFI?

Just popped in to have a look, and bought a cooker and hood saving of £850 ish.

The place is carnage people stripping display bathrooms and kitchens apart and loading straight in vans.

Had a chat to one of the young girls in there and she was nearly in tears, she has lost her job, and people are STILL stealing stuff from there, even with the massive discounts. The stuff int he stores is paying for the outstanding wages apparently.

Anyhows if your after some nice kit get yourself down there. But bring a van

80% I think the biggest discounts were on the furniture, would have been fights in the if not, you could feel the tension brewing anyway.

yeah I did wonder that... but Swindon's not alowing any of the "fitted" ward robes etc out till next week... they have some sparky's coming to make safe the displays etc.

Fingers crossed it'll all be there in a week! (I got a reciept... not that it means much lol)

Took advantage of them for some time with our prices, supplying them but they got us back when they first went into administration by taking us for £10k.

They can call it "Redundancy pay"!!

once those doors shut no one will ever know or care.

God help Travis Perkins if they go under...... the security guards there having been doing "business" for years !!

heard of men paying £100 for a van full of timber and paints etc.

Golden rule number one: dont treat your staff and customers like krap and they wont rob you !!
