Just bought the wife a PAYG Nokia on Vodafone and she wants to set a PIN code and its asking for existing one before she can change it to her own.
Doing a bit of Googling and looks like the default is 0000 but wanted to check on here to see if thats right as she has messed around with it and now she is on her final chance before it locks itself up (hence now its my problem !)
Anyone know ?
Cheers.

If it doesnt say in the book you got with the phone i suggest you phone vodafone up and ask. Or do what i did, get the PUK code first (Mine was on the card the SIM was stuck too) then enter anything until you have no more attempt to enter the PIN, then it should ask for your PUK code, enter it and then choose a PIN code and then re-enter PIN. Job done

But then you are asking for the PIN code asked for when the phone powers up rather than the voicemail PIN code, which would be Vodafone) aren't you??

Yes indeed - power up PIN not voicemail PIN.
It is 0000 - thanks guys - I am now out of the poo (for at least the rest of the day and then there will be something else that's my fault I am sure !)
