Bumped into the parents of a child who used to go to my son's nursery and who left to start school in September just gone.
When I asked if he had made friends at his new school, the response was his new best friend is called "Blade"![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
HTF can you call a little boy Blade? I'm guessing it's from the Wesley Snipes character from the films, as opposed to a reference for a knife, but I'm not totally sure!!
Think of the shiite he'll get when he's older!

Doubt he'll get sh!te. Imagine the type of parents he has, to have given him that name, probably roughians in their own right and the kid will probably grow up to be a PITA to society as Im sure theyre PITA to whoever they live next door to.

I'd love it if the kid was actually landed gentry. Unlikely but it would be very funny

Must be difficult for teachers not to laugh.
Imagine they don't conform to stereotype and end up well educated and going for proper jobs at some point.
Reminds me - we had a bloke start work one place I was working...
Boss - "Guys, this is David, he'll be working with group from today"
David - "Hi Guys"
Boss - "So David, do you go by David or do you prefer to shorten it?"
David - "Most people call me Ace"
Stunned silence, jaws hit floor, quiet sniggering.
He was always called David round the office.
