For the rest of the year I shall be being mostly...
... unemployed!
Not pleased to be out of work obviously but glad to get out where I was as I was pretty much coasting anyway and would have likely died of boredom at some point.
Now have the perfect reason to go out and find something new and possibly different. One door closes another opens and all those other clichés!
I may have a different attitude if I'm still unemployed in May/June but till then - let's see what the world has to offer....
Job centre tomorrow, not convinced they'll have anything to suit

Technology Compliance, Information Security and Business Continuity but don't know what I'll do next.
Was looking at franchises at the weekend, 10k gets you into a mobile coffee shop. You get a van - AND IT'S GOT A PROPER COFFEE MACHINE IN THE BACK!!

Needs careful consideration but worth a go, especially in the run up to Xmas.
Just watch the franchise terms very, very closely.

I'm lucky enough that I got my notice period paid (two months) so I'm in a good position for the moment.
I do realise I'm particularly lucky, I can't imagine having family and getting paid off in the run up to Christmas with no decent money.
Fingers crossed that isn't the case for too many.
