chop shop made that 944 for david ginola,looked nice, but fitting a charger and creating 290 bhp from a stock 160ish and not upgrading anything was askin for it and they got it.

1st was the clutch, disintergrated.

Then the head gasket went.

wonder how long and at that psi of the charger all that wont fail again ha ha ha

never find out how these cars they make get on after the show ends,thats what i want to see..........

Me too. The car looked nice though to be fair. But they still didnt test if pistons etc etc was ok with the turbo and didnt pay much attention to the engine that was in the car. And i DO hate the fact that we dont get to see that the STAR dont get to test drive the car!!!!

thought they fitted a clutch from a 944 turbo? and also the company they got it from admitted they had received complaints from other people about the clutch doing the same thing.

I do have to agree about the the super charger they should have realized that the engine would of needed some work.

thought it was better a bangla bangers, now they've got power tools its lost some of its mystic!

Wont get me in one though, as some of the engineering comes across as a bit suspect. Would have to examine them closely before hand!

I was thinking that today actually...

Love the show, but would've thought they might've shown them strengthening the internals before wapping that supercharger on so people don't get the wrong idea ...all they did was show them changing the fuel injectors...I did like the design though, it was one of Lipu's best

You could argue that the original cast ATE calipers were originally used on the 3,000cc 911 Turbo, so should be up to it.

I know Bernie and Lepu have faith in their cars as when they did the jools holland car bernie said he'd cracked a ton in it. So he's obviously very brave, very stupid or very confident.

It was one of the best looking car they have done, i normaly think the cars are ugly, but i was thinking the same thing about the engine blowing up, but in tearms of the build quality, dont they have to have a proper road test??

Disagree there. At least Bernie and Leepu actually care about the cars they build. The only one on The Garage I'd have any faith with touching my car is the one that used to work at a Ferrari dealership (not sure which one)

The rest are a bunch of half arsed spanner monkeys - the mistakes and bodge jobs they do is shocking.

Leepu does something very few people in the world can actually do.
