Default Selling a phone on ebay - why do I always get the ****s

So I'm selling a brand new phone on ebay, done my usual type of listing, given as much info as possible, stated at least twice that its presently on Orange network blah blah blah. I always put my phone number and email on listings so people can ask me questions direct.

A guy has been txting me asking me stupid questions about the phone, the answers to which are contained in my listing anyway. I get the impression he's not a native English speaker but I've nothing against that.

My latest txt from him is:

"Ok it's lock or unlock i'll buy on it from my ebay till paypal into your paypal on thursday or fri then delivery me paypal is paid vince."

WTF

Apart from "the phone is on ORANGE" is in my listing twice, I've told him 2 more times now that its on ORANGE. I just hope my selling filters stop this idjiot from buying it!

I'm tempted to put in future listings:

"if you don't have GCSE English or equivalent, don't bid or ask me questions"

Yeah no probs, just leave me your daughter and a suitcase full of English money and I'll send the phone where ever you want!

Had he asked me through ebay question function I would block him as a buyer!

Latest txt:

"U can withdrawn on ebay now and u send to me invoice on my email is viobiker**@hotmail.co.uk then i'll payment on your paypal vince."

Hmmmm, why isn't he buying through ebay?
Probably because my selling filters are stopping him!

So has he hacked into someones paypal account and using that to try and buy things?

Think I'll see what paypal have to say about vince!

I have currently a nokia n96 on 3 but its not locked.
Maybe change your advert to say it is locked (assuming it is) on Orange

Just checked what I've put in my listing . . . .

The phone is presently locked to the Orange network, but these phones can be easily unlocked to all networks should you wish. I have NOT unlocked the phone, if you want to use the phone on a network other than Orange then you will need to get the phone unlocked yourself.

And I've mentioned again at the bottom of my listing, so I no doubt that it is indeed LOCKED TO ORANGE.

The email address he sent me is not a valid email account!

Not that I have any intention of selling to him!

Is there any way to trace mobile numbers?
I've tried ringing but he doesn't answer to me?

07597 350 *** is his mobile number!

In response to phone tracing:

Won't matter. Most likely pay as you go so untraceable.

May as well have some fun winding him up now!

Tried emailing the guy using the email addy he gave for his paypal account, but its not a valid email address.
Not going to waste anymore of my time on him.

Its a good phone, with a good advert, sold by a 100% ebayer, so it will sell to someone.

Had a txt from "vince" earlier this evening asking:

"I wait for paypal pay invoice ebay phone but not invoice why not sell me phone i offer pay you payal you withdraw ebay and account to pay but not get now sold ebay buyer not me is any problem vince"

In English, he's not happy that I wouldn't end my auction early and send him a paypal money request for the phone. Instead a genuine ebayer with excellent feedback has bought the phone with Buy It Now and paid for the phone instantly through PayPal.

I have a message to Vince:

FCUCK OFF

That although sounds funny is a descent enough question dude , i bought a vectra SRI (i know i know ) a couple of years ago and got it posted to Inverness from Newcastle for £120 !! It would have cost me more than that in fuel to get the thing home ...
