Well, i ran over one of our cats (legs) whilst parking last week, had to be put down so - cost a packet in vets fees so no, the one remaing one will not be getting a pressie or card.
Before the SN cat protection league get all excitable said cat was 15 y/o and eyesight and marbles going. I guess it walked in front of the car from a concealed bush (as it was not there as i pulled onto the drive) as i was pulling up to the garage door rather than chasing it down the road trying to squish it for fun!

No point getting any presents for my cats. They don't understand it/ value it, anyway. They just like p!ssing about with the Christmas tree decorations, and get very excited with us lot unwrapping our gifts. Thats good enough for them
Apart from that, they get to eat some turkey with stuffing on Christmas with us.
They are well-behaved, and they don't earn any wages. So, they give us nothing but their cute looks to behold.
Great life these cats have, don't they? No responsibilities whatsoever.

We only have the Goldfish now, they would appreciate a clean of the bowl for Christmas.
Bad year for pets, the old dog is gracing the flowerbed, in dust form, the new dog ate the kitchen and went back to his old owners and the little Jack Russell of my Brother in Laws we look after occasionally met with an untimely end on the road outside her house yesterday morning, to be honest I have gone off the idea of pets, too much work and too much heartache.
