Does it cost more to insure a lease car ?

Looking at leasing a car on a persaonl lease - is it true it cost double to insure them ??????????

Depends on the insurer. When I had a car on contract hire, some insurers wanted more because I was neither the owner nor registered keeper.

I shopped round and some weren't bothered and quoted the same.

Not in my experience.

My ex and i got a new 320i on lease. It cost her less than her 10 year old Saxo 1.1 to insure.

My wife had a Corsa on lease for 3 years, Insurance was just the same
