Tell me about it. My parents are over in Arizona in Scotsdale for the xmas period and were laughing when they left on Sunday at our miserable weather.

They arrived to heavy rain and snow

But I bet they still cope better than us when we've had less than an inch!

One of my mates is flying out there next Monday for 3 months. I don't think he is expecting the weather to be like that

We got 8cm of snow on Monday evening, and we're expected to get up to 15cm of snow starting tomorrow morning around 11am, and more expected for the following week as well.

It might look pretty but it's right pain having to shovel your drive out, plus the path in front of your house (some law regarding this, if you don't do it within 12 hours of the last snowfall they fine you!). There is also the fact it is a tad cold, anywhere between -8 and -20 or colder, depending on windchill as well.

It's proper snow though, real snowman making stuff. Was tempted to make a little snowman on the deck, and might well do it this weekend if we do get the shedload that's expected.

Strange reporting. It says record snowfall, then goes on to say there was 9 inches of snow 30 odd years ago. What record?

I have to say that this global warming is a real nuisance when it produces the unusually cold early winter that we are having.
