Default What a stupid cow.

BBC NEWS | England | Fatal crash driver 'was texting'

Obviously only getting the reported story and perhaps not the full one but attitude sounds like it stinks as well.

Hopefully a suitable long sentence, anything over 120 years would be fine by me.

'Ms Curtis told Oxford Crown court she thought you could use a phone when driving "in the right conditions". She denies death by dangerous driving.'

'She told the court: "I didn't think I should be chatting away when manoeuvring roundabouts, but in the right conditions..."

Prosecutor Alan Blake replied: "In the right conditions on the M40 at 70mph?"

She added: "I probably would have slowed down."

somes this moron up quite nicely

TBH it doesn't surprise me. The amount of people doing stupid things whilst driving.. texting, reading maps, fiddling with hair styles (men as well as women!)..

'She also told the court she could send and receive messages without taking her eyes off the road.'

so this made her less of a danger did it? obviously not

I too hope she gets a sentence deserving of her crime, but will be surprised if she does...

The fact that she doesn't find texting at 70mph dangerous whilst driving says it all...no remorse whatsoever

Indeed. She knows best clearly and put the court straight. Well done, you're free to go.

Pleased she's pleaded "not guilty" - when she's obviously found otherwise there's more chance of a prison sentence .

I think if her defence was based around "she's so stupid, she can't understand anything" she'd stand a better chance...

"She also told the court she could send and receive messages without taking her eyes off the road. "

No she foofin' can't. Or while maintaining control of the wheel.
21 years old, driving at night, on wet roads, sending and reading texts and denies dangerous driving???
Loony. Ton of bricks hopefully.

Don`t worry she was perfectly safe as

made various calls and sent text messages to a number of friends using predictive text on her flip-top phone.

See she was using predictive text. Thats so much safer

UNBELIEVABLE !

but it does say the car she hit was 'forced off the carriageway' does this mean that the person she hit was stopped on the road rather than the hard shoulder trying to sort her damaged tyre ?

Not trying to justify or excuse her actions in any way just curious as to the circumstances ?

If one could assume the carriageway was clear at all times, we could all drive with our eyes closed.

What a daft bint.

I see similar idiot women driving along applying make-up using their rear view mirrors and not looking at the road, all the time

I do also see plenty of guys driving along whilst either texting or just on their mobiles as well, to be fair

Makes you think ... you want to see her punished .. but early 20's prison would surely ruin her life ?? (yes like the persons family she killed)

I dunno ... she obviously didn't think ... depends on how guilty she was ..

She seems to be unrepentant, which beggars belief. She still seems to maintain that there are situations where you can text and drive!

Throw away the key until intelligence and humility supervenes.

And she's still not thinking. Her statements including her admission of her ignorance (in right conditions, her @rse! ) seem to be so ridiculous for a responsible citizen aged 20+. Hope she gets what she deserves for being so idiotic.

Not being 'orrible, but the bint sounds braindead already. Thats her natural suffering as it is. But she had no right to inflict her condition on someone else, who was perfectly fine and innocent. I hope she suffers even more for this text cr@p while driving. Honestly, some people, eh!

LOL she said that she is capable to text without even looking at her phone. Wow! It proves what a cuckoohead she is, man!

Exactly - even in the face of the appalling thing she's done, she's actually bragging about her capabilities.

May be that's what she is trying to portray to the judge and the jury? its not gonna work Well, I hope not, anyway. Thickness doesn't reduce the damage she has caused to someone, does it?

I would go as far as to say if someone is lacking intelligance to that degree, they should not be allowed behind the wheel in the first place

It would have been more appropriate if the lorry she hit was from Lidl; ASDA is far too upmarket for her.

Without looking at others but your phone, you mean?

LOL you may be able to do so. But, do you text while you are driving- looking at phone or not? And, would you be so good to actually be proudly announcing of your talent (of texting without looking at the phone) after causing grave harm to some innocent person?
