The McCan's..... New Video of Maddie
Well that's genius.... a whole year rolls by and a week before Christmas they release a "new" video of Maddie only this time she "speaks"
Is it me or do could this have helped a year ago ...... those emotionless McCans really do amaze me at times, I mean is it me or does this whole state of affairs just still not add up??

I would say its a similar situation to the emotional blackmail charity adverts that appear on telly around xmas, hoping to wring a few more pounds out of people in a festive spirit.
I wonder how that £million+ fund financed by tabloid readers is working out for them?

Two cold hearted killers if you ask me. Trying to wring a few more coppers out of a gullible public.

Spot on DCI thats the first thing I said to the missus when that came on. Would it not have been a good idea to release it at the time.
I hope that all contributions from the public are no longer being accepted.
Very annoying indeed. I feel for Maddie I really do, but this is just taking the pee in my eyes.

Yes that is exactly what I think happened. Have thought so from day one and would dearly love to be proved totally wrong.

As for the belief behind the matter, I would have to say there is a LARGE following of that story out there. That they are aware of whats happened in some way shape or form.

There are some real animals out there. Not saying these people ARE to blame, but I dont reckon and less than 90% of the average people out there have had the thought cross their mind that the parents know more than they are letting on.

I couldn't ever even think about that for my 11 yr old daughter either mate. I watched those two emotionless McCanns and couldn't believe how cold and calculating they are and the thought germinated. Nothing I've seen from them since has convinced me otherwise that they are acting totally unlike any normal parents would when it comes to their children.

I always put their coldness down to shock and the initial feelings of guilt and the press onslaught for leaving her un-babysat? They felt hated and hence' retreated'? Not everyone blubbers like an X Factor finalist
I'll have to think about this one some more as it is easy to say as a defence they were both intelligent professionals, not low intellect scumbags trying to make money.

If I had just lost my child, I would not let the other 2 out of my sight for a LONG time to come, let alone days later to go for runs etc.
Life goes on yes, but for me, to me, it just does not add up.
Releasing MORE info inc vid with sound over a year later just adds more fuel to the fire to be honest. With the publicity, and the hits on the website, I would have had every picture, and video possible on there straight away. Not releases every few months. Its a lost child, not a frickin sneek peak of a forthcoming car!

I thought it was just me bieng cynical with my initial thoughts on her disappearance.
Ive seen nothing since that changes my view
The Karen Matthews comparison is one to think about. The reaction to the McCanns would have been different had they been unemployed living on a council estate etc
I would like to be proved wrong but their story and reaction doesnt make sense

how they have not had the rest of their kids taken off them and then been thrown into jail for neglect is beyond me. I would very much like to see Maddie back home safe and unharmed but i think it would be an insulting to Maddie herself to go back with her parents as they have let her down in a way no parent should ever be allowed too.
PS. saying all of the above, i was slated when i spoke out regarding Karen Matthews etc but i believe the same to be true with these turds too.

not bein funny , she is never gonna be seen again . they should just come to terms with that instead of bringing all the media into their lives again and upsetting themselves even more .

not bein negative just realistic!

Im with you Mags, if she is seen again then that will be fantastic, but there is a time to move on. Just like people did in the war, when boats have gone down etc.
Very sad I know.
But what bites is all the money being used on the Xmas appeal could be going towards child safety in the UK, reuniting lost and runaway kids and so on.
Just my opinion of course
As for the Karen Matthews thing, that exact question was asked on LBC the other day, and it came out as expected, had they have been lower classed, the attention given would be less.
As for the legal implications, because the "neglect" was commited in another country the UK courts cannot take action. Which is a shame.

I find the Maddie thing heartbreaking that so little was done at the right time, and that her parents have acted in such an un-natural way, for their own sakes, her sake, and their kids futures.
They know more than they are saying for sure, just cant quite decide what that is.
As for the Matthews bitch, hurt her.... lots!
Prisoners like her and him deserve one thing..... General population in prison.!

The neglect angle couldnt be pursued but Social Services could investigate and take action regarding their other children
Hang on ive just seen another flying pig

I too believe that things dont add up. I watched the program on TV with the highly trained police dogs who sniff out blood and detect if a dead body was around. These dogs got hired to sniff the apartment and guess what ....they reacted to what they are trained to do.

Interesting - I was discussing this with the missus over a curry tonight as I am still gobsmacked you all think they 'did' her. That too is therefore the only scenario I could come to - dad completely lost the plot and hurt her badly and then they decide to try to keep it under wraps??? This, incidentally, was all as my nipper was crumbling pappadum into his Perrier, but I really didn't consider infanticide for this utter gastro-crime, so it is all still a bit of a massive stretch of the imagination and logistics for me!!!!

Personally I find it hard to believe someone could drug and hide their child then lie to the world for the sake of £50k
Or half beat someone to death then rape them on their driveway then leave them to die.
Or not only kill someone, but then carve them up.... and so on.
What we personally could not do, or even dream of someone doing has been done many times before. Anything is possible, and sadly their medical training only makes the matter even more interesting.
Is it wrong to speculate while others suffer? Given the amount of help the McCanns failed to give the police during the investigation, how happy they were to have Robert Murat (sp) hung out to dry for it all, and how many indications were given by all sorts of specialists.
Added to the fact that they were so carefree about their childrens welfare... Oh and the abductor took one of 3. The one that was most likely to think it wrong for a stranger to take them....
Whatever the case, they did wrong, and THEY deserve no sympathy at this time..... Their remaining children who lost their sister, and other family who lost their little Maddie do though.

It isnt infanticide .That applies to post-natal depression really and Maddie was to old
Never under estimate peoples ability to lie to cameras or the police .
If you apply your own logic it doesnt work cos most people are normal, compassionate and would never hurt their kids or exploit them for money.
Some would though and that doesnt sit well with most of us

In a world according to Tim this is what happened. They work with medicine, wanted to go out for the night. They thought we will give her these pills to keep her sleeping whilst we are out.
Got back, she had copped it, so they disposed of her, could have been days before they reported it.
But thats in my world, not the real world.
