As above.

Looking to go there at the end of Jan, and want a decent place with sea view that's not silly priced. Just the one night over a weekend.

3 or 4 star and £60 PPPN, or there abouts.

Been looking on Trip Advisor but personal experience from SN may be more objective .

Well i actually still live near there and if you're idea of a night out is a expensive pubs/clubs then yes it's great.

The strip clubs are great tbh though although i suspect the OP won't be going to any

Admittedly can't comment on the Luton scene though

Ta!

It's not actually me going.

The Mrs is taking her Mum as a late xmas present. They reserved somewhere, but after reading reviews on Trip Advisors and its sh1te comments she's decided to make me post this thread!

So, if it's ****, it'll be my fault, and I actually love my Mother in Law - she's ace!

the last time I stayed there it was around £60 which is what I was basing it on, but I forgot I got a 40% discount at that time, I just checked and the rooms start at £99 so it would be about right. sorry fp I dont get a discount anymore unfortunatly

its only £40 more pppn get the wallet out

Check out this place

Bournemouth Hotels: Captains Club Hotel - Christchurch Quay, Christchurch Bournemouth Dorset UK

It's in Christchurch a few miles away from B/mouth. I'm staying the weekend in Jan for £22/night. Just ring them and ask for the birthday offer. Got a Spa as well to keep the Mrs happy.
