Is it just me or has the quality of spelling and grammar on Scoobynet declined over the past ten years?

I have just been reading some threads that brought this to my attention!

No, it's always been generally crap. More people (like the two above) don't give a s**t these days than those that do. "You can understand what i'm trying to say" you see. Tragic.

Oh, but I do care. Txtspk/ poor spelling should not be encouraged, but that doesn't mean this discussion hasn't been done to death on other threads.

We all 'no' where the spell checker is.

People generally just type 'casually' here which means interesting spelling and grammar. It used to bother me, but life is too short.

I on the other hand are very particular about it and even punctuate my text messages!

I think the quality of spelling has travelled the same road as the quality of threads..... As demonstrated on this one.

Just a pointer though, is the punctuation of your OP correct? Me thinks its not

Not just you, I've noticed this as well - and it's not difficult words that seem to be the problem..

Breaks instead of brakes is quite common and yesterday someone was flogging so car hi-fi stuff with lots of base(bass)

People who can't spell, or who are bored with reminders about their inability, that's who. Same old s**t, different day.

My mistake. I think I make a good effort with the spelling/grammar in my post's, but unfortunately I'm not perfect all the time.

The baits there Snazy, will he go into overload?

Oh I hope not, that would be terrible

I am however shocked that there is no correction on the OP, or maybe he has not noticed that one?

Regardless of what else happens on this thread, or is said, I will put it down as a simple EPIC FAIL thread

Didn't know, or chose to bait? Who knows, but either way I will sleep well tonight knowing that someone spent enough of their time to care about me. Thank you, I care too

However, error or not, it is still not as bad as the OP getting their complaint about grammar........... WRONG

I'm sorry, I don't believe myself to be qualified to answer that question.

But in my opinion, there is an error. Probably just my ignorance more than anything

STOP!

The only annoying thing on here is if you scroll to the top of the page and look at the word under 'Log Out'

Please God,say the time has come to correct it

Edit...just noticed the word underneath it too No proof readers on Scoobynet staff then?

Hmmm, I would say we both have opinions on the matter. And would leave it there.
