Personal Accident Compensation
Just received a random phonecall from a company reference an industrial accident I had a year and 4 months ago.
I have never persued it as a claim with anyone, however the company knew my name and phone number and said that because of the accident I had in the last 3 years there is a sum of money 'allocated'.
Anyone else had this happen to them? Sounds a bit like a scam to me, but how would they have details and know of my accident?

Sounds like a scam, but for them to have the information maybe they have obtained an old H&S accident book from your work, or accessed HSE records some how.
Either way, its wrong and tell them to do one.
