Default Lazy neighbour

In the paper it said "please look after your neighbours in the cold weather".Not once has my 87 year old neighbour come round to check if I'm all right. The lazy bitch hasn't even taken in her milk for 2 weeks!

Maybe instead of making jokes, she might actualy need some help. Or as already said, she could have died.

Why not go round and knock on her door. Check she's ok, instead of being a pr1ck If no answer, phone the police. They can enter her property.

I was brought up to respect my elders. I alway stop & talk to my elderly neighbours. I've always offered to help them should they need it. Even if it's just changing a lightbulb.

This country would be a far better place if we all thought like this.

Surely the OP was making a joke - and he doesn't have a 87 year old neighbour who hasn't taken her milk in.

Can't believe people have taken that comment as serious!

Don't be so stupid it will have gone off by now, to the op, wait until it warms up a bit, and if you notice more fly's then normal and a retchid stench coming from her doorway then she may just be on holiday.

Just take this mornings milk then and put the rest through her letter box, that will teach the lazy old cow.

This thread and yesterdays spelling one should be reason enough to prove why the infraction system didn't work.

Thats a much better idea, when you notice the level of the milk appearing in the top floor windows, you will know something is not quite right.

I'm full of great idea's. You could work out how much the level rise's in one week, mark the windows with a scale and you a have a house calender.

The only problem is as she bloats she will disperse more milk and affect the readings, we may have to tweak the scale or reduce the milk input to off set the bloating body.

Its not the bloating that will be the problem, after a certain amount of time she will start to decompose, and just turn into a putrid black liquid, so although admittedly this will affect the scale, i don't think it will be such a big a problem as the bloating, you will notice when this has happened though, because the milk will take on a slight greyish tinge and probably not taste quite as it should.

she might on the other hand have a very thirsty cat and you will need to take the volume of milk away from the volume of glass and adjust the calendar method accordingly, as long has the cat has access to the outside world (via a catflap, or other such method) and utilises this exit for the purpose of urination. If however the cat is ever caught short, which can happen , then you'll need to calculate the probability of this and again make adjustments to the forecast.
as for the milk bottles blocking up access to the catflap, then anything can happen.

my guess is you'll be celebrating christmas in september using this method, but hey, you never know

Far to many variables I reckon, This could really screw up Christmas for any local's using the calender. Lets just leave her to rot and buy a Hollyoaks calender instead.

And make a really low offer buying on her house.

Oh for christ's sake, no milkman would let the old dear run up a bill for more than a fortnight.

Then he'd just walk past !
