Default Dog woke me this morning at 4am .. someone at my car

The dog started barking this morning and being the paranoid ******* I am, I jumped up and ran to the window to see someone in my Garden stood next to me car, I opened the windows and shouted what the **** are you doing? and he ran ..

The adrenalin is still pumping now ... 8 hours later ..

Credit to the dog, she doesn't normally bark .. maybe she sensed something was a miss !

There were two of them, on outside my gate the other next to the car .. could have just been drunks I guess.

a sad sign of the times.

i just do what i can, remove all valuables and use steering lock, alarm and immobiliser.
if it goes after that then hey..... its only a car.

im more annoyed about damage than theft.

dont let it ruin your life or sleep mate, been there done it and got a 6inch scar down the face for interfering with thieves in 2000

having said that, i'd do it again if i saw something going on !!

all thieves are cowards mate.

their focus is on getting something with the least amount of fuss.

the only sad bit is its on your property and not, say in a pub car park or anywhere else.

might be worth posting a couple of letters round the area for people to be vigilant.
we all knock curtain twitching, but it does the job.

plus with all your neighbours staying up late peering through Everest's finest, that leaves you to have a quality nights sleep

Agreed, if a scream out the window or a barking dog wont sort it, hit 3 9's on your phone and stay alive.
Getting stabbed or battered for a car or any other posessions.... no thanks.

As for the bank cards, no mate, unless they ask nicely for them

Bloke was probably having a crafty slash, and you scared the hell out of him mid stream - feel happy that he then had to walk home with trousers covered in **** that was getting colder and colder all the time.

Working away, I returned to my car late one night to find some ****** with a screwdriver seconds from doing something to my car didn't give him the chance for me to find out what, instead I jabbed (as in punched) him a couple of times in the face and gave him a knee in the bollox.
While he was down on the floor I then stamped on his bollox as hard as I could.
Checked my car over, no damage, so drove off. Never heard anything from the plod.

Hopefully he will now be infertile and not able to produce little *******. My assistance to Natural Selection.

And I don't regret it one bit.

Well done that dog - good job you aint got my neighbours or else they'd of been on the phone to environmental health about the 2noikse the dogs make when they bark"

Sadly we've never managed to catch the scrouts who have scratched our scoob - lucky for them really and I think Gooner would have repeated a few of the things stated above - those and more probably.

In todays time though its not as easy to just give someone a hiding - their likely to come back the following night, with 10 of their mates - or sue you, despite the fact that it was THEM who were trying to steal or damage in the first place - we're all too PC these days. Protect what is yours - but stay safe doing it

A mate of mine is a bit worried having just bought a WR1 (had a go in it last night, god god it shifts) and living in Manchester, I told him that if anyone wants it and is prepared to hurt you, just give it to them.

Good dog you have got there. Glad nothing worse happened but I can understand how uneasy you must feel now.
