Can you have more than one ISA...
...as long as you only deposit less than £3600 per year in both? Or, can you only have one at any one time?

A. There are limits on the number of ISA accounts you can subscribe to each tax year. You can only put money into one cash ISA and one stocks and shares ISA - one each for cash and stocks and shares.
But in different years, you could choose to save with different managers. There are no limits on the number of different ISAs you can hold over time.

Oops,i just closed an ISA yesterday and opened another one up with another bank.
thats still only 1 i have,but its 2 in the same tax yr,they didnt say anything when i opened it,they said do i have an open ISA,i said no.
