10m? Thats roughly 30ft isnt it!

Will need a pretty big flatbed, alot bigger than a transit.

Nah you just need a Stanley and an Oliver.

As in Stanley Laurel and Oliver Hardy, they're experts in this field!

Phone up a boat builder and ask who they use.

I live next door to a gliding club and owners have specialist long thin trailers to haul their planes about after unscrewing the wings. May be borrow one of those? dl

I would have thought you would be ok with a trailer - like a race car one - so overhanging the car. Plan the route though. Depends if you are transporting or having it delivered.

cheapest will proberly be with a gereral haulier, doing groupage or backloading so you'll only pay part of the cost. yellow pages time! ring round general hauliers from both ends of the journey, if you haven't got a major time deadline, chances are someone will sort you out. failing that if you have access to a tow barred up vehicle and your license allows (B+E) hire a trailer £30 - £50 for around a 20 foot long one. any overhang should be marked but if over 2 meters it has to be marked (red and white striped triangular marker boards in theory), rig up a tressle at the front to lift it over the tow vehicle, bobs your uncle!
