You just know the smell is never going away.
This is what happens when you hit a bird at 120mph |
(might well be SIAL but as well as not GingAF, recent events return it to relevance

Bizarrely, mythbusters had the myth of whether you should slow down or speed up when hitting a moose on tonight.
Terrifying amount of damage done to a car at less than 40mph

Verdict was to slow down as the moose would not flip up over the car as people hoped, just plough straight through.
It peeled the roof right back on the high speed run, even watching it happen you couldn't believe the sheer amount of damage done in such a short space of time.

Oh I can, I hit a large deer in the US in a brand new Chevvy pickup a few years ago.
I didn't hit it hard enough to kill it outright, so had to finish it off. Made a bloody mess of the truck, problem was 2 mins after I pulled the trigger, the bloody deputy turned up as he'd heard the shot. Happened 2 days before open season. Made a good bbq though, and the truck cost 5 grand to repair!
