Forgot to get the new owner to fill in section 10 of the V5c

He,s filled in the other bit & signed it...(sec 8)

Do i just bang my bit in the post and done with?

Im guessing the sec 10 bit is the little green slip rather than the new keeper details. If so, he wont "need" it unless the car is out of or running out of tax soon.

You could post him it if your worried tho.

He should have kept section 10 himself so that he can tax it if it runs out, and it proves his ownership to an extent.

I would put his name and address into sect 10 and tear it out and keep it in case he asks for it. Then send whats left to DVLA as you say Mart. Section 10 must not be sent to DVLA.

Just twigged he has got it anyway-up to him to fill it in then.
