And Tanyatriangles is........................
..........................here again!
I'm STILL not going to use the dreaded "b" word. Mine is still so painfull and I STILL have little use nor feeling in my left arm, but at least I can sit for a short while now.
I've lost 10 lbs in the last three weeks, but I definitely DO NOT recommend it as a good weight loss method

For those that didn't see it, I posted about the onset of b*ck pain around 30/12, and have been in screaming agony since new year. Trapped nerve, 6th/7th vertebrae. Today is the first day I can actually sit up to type.

Pics of WHAT?
I haven't REALLY had back passage problems you know
Now i'm referred to the fekkin hospital for 3 x-rays, about 6 million blood tests and to possibly see a neurosurgeon. I seem to have LESS use in my left arm every fekkin day
And here was I thinking 2009 couldn't POSSIBLY be any worse than 2008

As the days go by I have less and less use in it too. Ever tried putting socks on one handed?
Hopefully they'll find summats when I go up to hospital on monday, we live in hope. The thought of this being a permanent thing doesn't leave me feeling too well, you know?
At least I can laugh about it now. The meds help in that.

Doris Duodecahedron.
Tanya get a f**king TENS machine !
Transcutaneous Electricery Nerve STI-mulation !
They are fabulous, the only way I could come back from where you are was to hook myself up to one of these babies.
Used correctly you can dial out the pain.
HTH
dunx
P.S. Good luck with the recovery !

ouch sounds allot like the problems me dad is having, he had 1 of the vertebrae removed last year but seems like there was a problem with the insert they put in, he has to see a neurosurgeon on wed to see if they will bother operating again.
Hes been in same situation with pain for last 2-3 years.
Hope you have better success with the NHS than him for your sake
