My first car was a '84 Nova 1.3 SR. Silver with brown tartan interior. Sounds hideous!!! 
Loved it though. My Mum had it from new until I bought it from them in '96.

My first car was a nova 
It was 1.2i in whilte with lovely 15" alloys
Bought it for £4499 when i was just 17 (nearly 13 years ago) and i loved it like nothing else.
I really wanted the a Gsi for the same money however the insurance would have been more than the car
I remember after saving for ages, ringing round all the insurance companies in the yellow pages, proundly telling them i wanted to buy a 1.6 Gsi only to be laughed at and given MASSIVE quotes
That was such a hard lesson to learn at a young age, and it broke me knowing i could afford to buy the car, but not insure it
So, i opted for the lower 1.2i, which i might add i crashed twice, so maybe the insurance companies wernt daft

my first car was an opel corsa 1.2 sky blue 85(b). done all my first modifying with it, brakes,suspension,exhaust etc. i loved it!!!! cracking little car it was too!! had it 8-9 years before the rust got to it. had the novadose body kit for it but never got round to fitting it.......
