lol cheers mogsi
Funniest thing I have ever seen was the guys in the pic below, as they were just posing around the guard, he did the moving thing where they stamp a few times, and move the gun about.
He did that at the exact moment they all approached him, and they all scattered lol

One of the lads thatI currently work with was in the Queen's Guard..
He said the scariest thing he ever had to deal with was 300 Girl Guides running up to his post shortly sfter the 7/7 terrorist attacks.
The only way he could get rid of them was by winking and sticking his tongue out at them to get rid of them, which worked as as soon as he had done that, they got bored and moved on.

If they dont (which I doubt) they should carry ammo, and ppl should be discouraged from approaching and harrasing them considering the times we live in.
If a large group of ppl approach.......

They do indeed carry live rounds, they used to have the live clip already fitted just not primed, nowadays it's deemed unsafe so they keep a live clip on their person not on the rifle itself should anything happen.
They should give the guards powers of arrest that should spice things up a bit.

I can guarantee that the soldier involved is going to be well and truely in the brown and smelly. It's made the sun newspaper which is certain to cause a whole load of embarrassment for the unit, trust me I know.
