Gave up smoking (30 a day habit) on NYE, still going strong.
Anyone else managed to keep to anything?

Gotta admit, I've lost about a half-stone, so I quite chuffed. Also wanted to make it a more prosperous year.
Too early to tell, but I've put some plans in place
Gotta keep going

Yes, still going OK.
Stopped biting my nails and I've lost 8Ibs as well, by cutting out crap like crisps and eating smaller portions. Saves money too!

Wasn't really a resolution but I had a book on running whose basic programme I wanted to complete.
I normally excercise quite a bit. I do plenty of cycling, weights, swimming, and Martial Arts work. But I've always neglected running.
At the moment I'm only doing a few miles but it's giving me a lot of satisfaction to complete even these, so much so I've neglected the other areas of my training!

Yep, stuck to it like glue..
The resolution was to stop spending money on crap I didn't really need but simply "wanted".
Apart from a bacon butty last week all I have spent money on so far is diesel to get to work and back.
Hard work living like a hermit though.

I'm not sure whether I was meant to give up alcohol totally or just for January but the reason was because (in my opinion) I was drinking too much. So I stopped for January but had a couple of drinks at the weekend which I didn't really enjoy & have stopped again this week. I am probably happy if I can change to maybe 1 or 2 a month. Saves a fortune too!
