Old Films. Tell me your favourites
I have just watched Dead Zone and thoroughly enjoyed it. Could not believe how young Christopher Walken was 26 years ago!!!!!

Once Upon A Time In The West - Henry Fonda's greatest performance
Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid - The only Steve Martin film I've ever liked
Withnail & I - Contains the finest opening sequence ever commited to celluloid
Jaws - First saw it in '81 as a 10yo, and I still don't swim in the sea

Dead Zone -- great film btw
12 Angry Men (Henry Fonda)
Prime Cut (Lee Marvin, Gene Hackman)
surely Once Upon A Time In The West - has the greatest opening sequence

Scrooge with Alistair Sim.
Love the old pre-50s b/w nitrate films. They had a lovely lustre. And the mono sound tracks where you could actually hear the dialogue and the sound wasn't dropping in and out like a fiddler's elbow!
