A logger cuts down a beautiful forest because he is totally selfish and inconsiderate and cares nothing for the habitat of animals or the preservation of our woodlands.

Topic for class participation after answering the question: How did the birds and squirrels feel as the logger cut down their homes? (There are no wrong answers. If you are upset about the plight of the animals in question counselling will be available)

Haven't you posted that before Swiss?

It would be funnier if it wasn't true!

The so-called "Arabic" system, was actually invented in India, the arabs borrowed it and made it popular.

Good Swiss, but you missed on on the current basis.

A logger sells a lorry load of timber for £1000.
His cost of production is 5/4 of the selling price, or £1200.

How is he still in business?

Answer - Government handout, Joe public now own 43.5% of his failing company

The evolution of British maths teaching : The British National Party

Got to love the BNP at times

and a funny comment..

5.5. Teaching Maths in 2012

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for £100. His cost of production is £80 and his profit is £20. If 50% of this profit is taxed, how many truckloads of lumber need to be sold to build a Mosque where the forest used to be?
